I loved the story and characters. It was very well written, especially considering this is Linda Harper’s first novel published. The story spans several years and I didn’t feel like I needed to rush through it. Read it. It will make you see yourself and others in a more positive way.

I also enjoyed the small-town descriptions and nuances of being in a close-knit community. For today’s world, it is a timely read as it shows us the importance of getting involved and in supporting one another.
I can see this as a Hallmark Movie in the making!! The characters are so down to earth real! I felt like I was there and the ending is unexpected and brought on a few tears. Definitely recommend for any age who enjoys a heart warming story.
